2014 A New Year
There are two ways of spreading light: To be the candle or the mirror that reflects it – Edith Wharton
2013 was a challenging and difficult year for so many. It points to the indomitable nature of the human spirit that at the close of each year, we allow ourselves a fresh start; a chance to hit the re-set button and try again. We mark this event in whatever way feels appropriate to us, whether with quiet introspection, or joyful noise.
Joy is currently in the rehab center, drawing on her own unshakable spirit to keep moving ahead with her treatments and physical therapy and planning her own fresh start. She wanted me to let you all to know that she feels so blessed to know that you are all out there. Your visits, calls, emails and even your simple good intentions are bolstering her and lifting her up.
Wishing you a 2014 of hopes fulfilled.

P.S. One of Joy’s hopes for the New Year is that you will buy and share her book with anyone you know who is need of some inspiration. Your reviews on Amazon will help spread the word.
Peace
I wish Joy a year full of strength and new beginnings!! I love reading her blogs!!

I’m sending my love and prayers and I’m believing that 2014 will be a much better year for you, Joy. This is a time of new beginnings, new strength, new joy, new blessings.
How typical of you, Joy, to say that “it has been a difficult and challenging year for so many.” I looked at that and thought “I would have said it has been a difficult and challenging year for ME,” if I were you. But you always see beyond yourself. That is such a generous and enviable trait.
I was so happy to see you yesterday. Our next visit will not be so rushed!
Love you,
Nora
